PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make operability proper by enhancing torque assist of a motor, which is mechanically connected to an output shaft of an engine, to torque assist during traveling of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus includes: a motor that is connected to an output shaft of an engine; a torque converter that is arranged between the engine and a transmission and that has a lock-up clutch for engaging or disengaging the engine and the transmission; and motor control means for generating predetermined assist torque in the motor so as to torque-assist the engine. The motor control means permits torque assist when the lock-up clutch is engaged. |
