PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological imaging apparatus capable of performing imaging while surely illuminating the inside of an imaging target place, even when the imaging target place is narrow and deep in a dark place.SOLUTION: A hand-held intraoral camera for imaging an imaging target place by inserting an insertion part C1 into an oral cavity of a patient comprises: a passage hole 21a for allowing incidence of reflected light Lr reflected at the imaging target place; an incident light path R2 for guiding the reflected light Lr incident from the passage hole 21a; a CMOS sensor 52a for receiving the reflected light Lr guided through the incident light path R2 to perform imaging; and a coaxial illumination LED 25 for emitting, from the passage hole 21a, light as coaxial illumination light L1 having an optical axis coinciding with an optical axis A of the reflected light Lr along at least the insertion part C1 of the incident light path R2 of the reflected light Lr at the passage hole 21a. |
