PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular shift device having excellent operability and high safety.SOLUTION: A shift device 1 comprises: an operation member (10); a switch part (19); and a main body part (20) supporting an operation member (10) to be displaceable in a first direction and a second direction, and automatically returning the operation member after the displacement to a predetermined home position. When the operation member (10) is displaced in the first direction, a shift range is switched to a drive range; when the switch part (19) is ON and the operation member (10) is displaced in the second direction, the shift range is switched to a reverse range; and when the switch part (19) is OFF and the operation member (10) is displace in the second direction, the shift range is switched to a neutral range. The main body part (20) has a variable mechanism (40) in which an operation force required for displacing the operation member (10) in the second direction is larger when the switch part (19) is OFF than when it is ON.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
