PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shifting responsivity to a cylinder deactivation operation.SOLUTION: A hydraulic supply device 1 includes: a valve stop mechanism 25 for stopping an intake valve 14 of a first cylinder; a valve stop mechanism 25b for stopping an intake valve 14 of a forth cylinder; an oil passage 61 to which oil is always supplied during engine driving; an oil passage 65 to the valve stop mechanism 25b on the first cylinder side and extending from a cylinder head front end portion; an oil passage 75 to the valve stop mechanism 25b on the fourth cylinder side and extending from a cylinder head rear end portion; a first direction switch valve 46 disposed at the cylinder head front end portion and controlling the supply of the oil to the oil passage 65; a second direction switch valve 47 disposed at the cylinder head rear end portion and controlling the supply of the oil to oil passage 75; a communication passage 66 for communicating the oil passages 61 and 65, and equipped with a throttle 66a; and a communication passage 76 for communicating the oil passages 61 and 75, and equipped with a throttle 76a. |
