PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of a heat balance between a fuel cell and a reformer, while simplifying a water supply system in a fuel cell device including a plurality of fuel cells and reformers.SOLUTION: In a fuel cell device including a plurality of fuel cells 10 and reformers 44, the plurality of fuel cells 10 and reformers 44 are coupled in series alternately in the order of a reformer 44 and a fuel cell 10, so that steam contained in the off-gas of a fuel cell 10 of the previous stage flows into a reformer 44 of the following stage. When a reformer 44 and a fuel cell 10 coupled in series are referred to as a coupled body, the plurality of reformers 44 are configured so that a reformer SR2 constituting a coupled body on the following stage side comes into thermal contact with a fuel cell FC1 constituting a coupled body on the previous stage side, and a reformer SR1 constituting a coupled body on the previous stage side comes into thermal contact with a fuel cell FC2 constituting a coupled body on the following stage side. |
