PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a timing reproduction device performing symbol timing estimation with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A timing reproduction device for reproducing a symbol timing in a receiver receiving a signal subjected to DSTBC encoding on a block-by-block bases, where N symbols (N is an integer of 2 or more) are 1 block, includes power calculation means (square units 9, 10, adder 11) for calculating the power value of each sample value obtained by performing K times oversampling of a received signal, addition means (1 symbol delay unit 12, adder 13) for adding the power value over N symbols, and timing estimation means (DFT processing unit 50, average processing units 20, 21, phase calculation unit 22) for estimating the symbol timing based on the addition results from the addition means. |
