PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toilet seat in which a burr hardly enters between a bottom end part of a seat part and a bottom end part of a support part.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a toilet seat includes: a seat part 1 which is annular in a plane view; a bottom part 2 fixed to a bottom end surface 13 of an inner peripheral end and an outer peripheral end of the seat part 1 by vibration welding; a heater 3 and a cushioning material 4 provided at a rear surface 14 of the seat part 1; and a support part 5, annular in a plane view, in which an upper surface 51 becomes a support surface for the seat part 1, and in which a bottom end surface 53 of the inner peripheral end and the outer peripheral end is fixed to the bottom part 2 by vibration welding. An arrangement is such that: a welding part 15 is provided at a part separated from a bottom end part 12 of the rear surface 14 of the seat part 1; a welding part 54 is provided at a part separated from a bottom end part 52 of the upper surface of the support part 5; the bottom end part 52 located on the inner peripheral end of the support part 5 is separated from the bottom end part 12 located on the inner peripheral end of the seat part 1, and the bottom end part 52 located on the outer peripheral end of the support part 5 is separated from the bottom end part 12 located on the outer peripheral end of the seat part 1 by both welding parts 15 and 54 coming into contact. |
