Circuit for generating light pulses

The arrangement has an electro-optical transducer that is attached to a load storage by a switching unit (3), where charging of the load storage is triggered and a current pulse is generated. The current pulse is converted into light pulse in the electro-optical transducer. An adjustment circuit (5) is provided for impedance matching between the load storage and the switching unit and between the switching unit and the transducer.
