The invention specified concerns a child safety seat for restraining a child in transit in a vehicle. The invention comprises a chair bottom and a back rest designed as separate shells, where both shells are connected to one another with a flexible fitting that makes it possible to rotate the concave surfaces of the chair bottom and back rest to face the same direction thus making the chair bottom and back rest stackable in a very compact shape. The invention specifies two constructional embodiments of fittings that make it possible to stack the back rest and chair bottom in a compact shape and to reassemble them. |
