PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable electric power required for transmitting an obstacle detection result to be reduced when a shutter curtain falls, in the case where the transmission is wirelessly performed.SOLUTION: A rolling shutter obstacle detection system comprises: a seat plate switch 31 for detecting that an obstacle exists in an aperture 1; a transmitter 32 for transmitting an obstacle detection state signal including information indicating a detection state of the obstacle; a receiver 33 for wirelessly receiving the obstacle detection state signal; and an interlock relay 16 for performing opening/closing operation of the rolling shutter curtain 12 on the basis of the obstacle detection state signal. The transmitter 32 stops transmission of the obstacle detection state signal when the obstacle is detected. The interlock relay 16 performs control for closing the rolling shutter curtain 12 while the obstacle detection state signal is received, and performs control for stopping the closing of the rolling shutter curtain 12 when the obstacle detection state signal is not received. |
