PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow checking of a conversion position of a tongue rail, relating to an index electric point machine comprising two operation rods.SOLUTION: Tip ends of tongue rails 10a, 10b are connected with a spring tie bar 3, and two, first and second, operation rods 11, 12 connected separately to the tongue rails 10a, 10b are provided. Two operation rods are properly used for drive side and slave side. An operation rod connected to a contact side tongue rail is driven to a conversion direction, and an open side tongue rail is made to follow the tongue rail moving in the conversion direction. After conversion, a conversion complete position of the operation rod connected to the tongue rail is checked, and if it is at a correct position, an operation rod connected to the tongue rail to be a contact side is locked. |
