PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a sulfur material having high conductivity and reactivity as a positive electrode material, capable of preventing a sulfur compound produced during charge/discharge from leaking into an electrolyte, and also capable of increasing a sulfur content in a positive electrode; a positive electrode using the sulfur material, high in capacity and less in deterioration of capacity due to charge/discharge; and a secondary battery.SOLUTION: There are provided: a sulfur composite in which a sulfur surface is coated with a metal layer or a metal sulfide layer; a positive electrode including a current collector and a positive electrode active material layer containing the sulfur composite; and a secondary battery including the positive electrode, an electrolyte and a negative electrode. |
