PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that enables a moving object to be fixed to a guideway.SOLUTION: A fixing device 20 includes first-fourth stopper units 40-70 that comprise a stopper 42, and a wire-type traction and release mechanism 80. The stopper 42 is held in such a manner as to be movable between a position of noncontact with a guideway 1 and a position of contact with the guideway 1. An on-pedal 85 and an off-pedal 88 of the wire-type traction and release mechanism 80 are operated to switch between the position of contact with the guideway 1 and the position of noncontact with the guideway 1. |
