PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized shift lever device operated in two directions orthogonal to each other, which is reduced in size in a direction orthogonal to the two directions to easily make a compact design.SOLUTION: A shift lever device 1 operated in a shift direction and a select direction orthogonal to each other includes: a base 2 fixed to a vehicle side; a shift shaft 31 orthogonal to a plane containing the shift direction and the select direction; a select shaft 32 orthogonal to the shift shaft 31 without intersecting it; an intermediate member 3 rotatable around the shift shaft 31 supported by the base 2; and a shift lever 11 rotatable around the select shaft 32 supported by the intermediate member 3, the tip of which is provided with a shift knob 10. |
