PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a step-out of a motor even if an electric oil pump is started to be driven during the discharge pressure of a mechanical pump is high, in an electric oil pump which is used in parallel with the mechanical pump.SOLUTION: A ring-shaped overload response plate 30 is accommodated in a plate accommodation chamber 20 which is opened and formed in a rotor chamber 12, pressed to seal rings 26a, 26b by a rotor 6, and covers a compression chamber PC which is formed between an outer rotor 7 and an inner rotor 8. When pressure at a discharge port 43 side is brought into an overload state, the overload response plate 30 is displaced, and makes oil progress to a suction port 42 side from the discharge port 43 side through a clearance W between a slide-contact face 31 and an end face of the rotor 6 in an axial direction. By this constitution, since a motor 3 which drives the rotor 6 is held at a rotation number higher than a motor step-out rotation number, the motor is not brought into a normal-drive impossible state. |
