The valve has a spring plate arranged in a valve housing, and a valve spring supported on the spring plate, where the valve spring applies spring force to a valve body. A setting spindle displaces the spring plate so as to set the spring force. An adjustment screw (38) and a spindle shaft (40) are moved relative to one another in circumferential direction, and the spindle shaft is displaced together with the spring plate in axial direction by the adjustment screw.
