PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for erecting a low-strength pipe in which the low-strength pipe such as a polyvinyl chloride pipe or a thin steel pipe can be buried simultaneously with excavation without applying a rotational force or a compression force thereto, installation of a guide pipe (casing pipe) is not required and prompt and inexpensive construction can be performed.SOLUTION: A cap pipe 8 with which blades 10 for excavation are provided in the outer circumference of a distal end, is mounted to a distal end of a low-strength pipe 6 such as a polyvinyl chloride pipe to be erected, a rotational driving rod 12 is inserted into the low-strength pipe 6 such as the polyvinyl chloride pipe to be erected, and the distal end portion thereof is engaged to the distal end of the cap pipe 8 to be freely attachable and detachable and to restrict the cap pipe 8 so as to be turned together. The low-strength pipe 6 is then erected into the ground while performing excavation with the cap pipe 8 by driving the rotational driving rod 12. |
