PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior structure of an automobile in which a parking brake lever and a center console cover are relatively positioned by engagement therebetween, a space efficiency is good and generation of a noise such as striking sound can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An interior structure of an automobile includes a lever side engaged part 60 which is formed integrally to a base bracket for pivotally supporting a parking brake lever, and a cover side engaging part 50 which is provided on an inner surface 31a' of a side wall 31a of a center console cover and is engaged with the engaged part 60. The engaging part 50 has: a plate-like part 51 which is separated from the side wall 31a by a predetermined distance, extends in parallel to the side wall 31a and holds the engaged part 60 between itself and the side wall 31a; a connection part which connects the plate-like part 51 to the inner surface 31a' of the side wall 31a; and a rib 55 which is so provided on the inner surface 31a' of the side wall 31a facing the plate-like part 51 as to be projected and of which an area of contact with the engaged part 60 is smaller than an area of contact with the plate-like part 51. |
