A tool, e.g. a spoon (fig 9a, 300) comprising a tooth (fig 9a, 328) on the handle for opening, cracking or de-shelling the egg. A container 200 for holding an egg (fig 1, 110) and 200-250ml of water. An open-mouthed container 200 for storing and warming up a pre-boiled egg comprises a support (fig 6b, 248) on the base of the container 222 and a lid 220 with a second support 272, the egg (fig 1, 110) being held resiliently between the two supports when the lid 220 is closed. |
