PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fittings capable of preventing a sash from coming off at the time of fire and preventing a flame from blowing out from a gap on the downside of the sash at the time of fire.SOLUTION: Fittings include a frame 3, a sash 5 that is openably/closably supported on the frame 3 by a sash support member 7, and a sash retainer 6 that is provided on a top surface of a sill 9. The sash retainer 6 has a sash placement part 6a that protrudes toward an undersurface side of a bottom rail 19, and a thermally-expandable fire-resistant material 32a that is expanded toward the bottom rail by heat at the time of fire. When the bottom rail is lowered by the heat at the time of fire, the bottom rail 19 is placed on the sash placement part 6a, and the thermally-expandable fire-resistant material 32a closes a space between the sash placement part and the bottom rail 19. |
