A connector (1) comprises a first connector housing (3), a second connector housing (5) which is capable of engaging with the first connector housing (3), an engagement part (7) which is disposed upon the first connector housing (3), and a part for engagement (9) which is disposed upon the second connector housing (5). The part for engagement (9) further comprises a frame (11), and movable housings (13) which are movably positioned within the frame (11) in the engagement direction of the first connector housing (3), and which have different timings from the frame (11) for completing an engagement with the engagement part (7). Flexible hook parts (15) are disposed upon the frame (11) and the movable housings (13) for provisionally hooking the movable housings (13) into the interior of the frame (11). When the engagement part (7) of the first connector housing (3) and the movable housings (13) are engaged, the hook parts (15) unlatch the provisional hooking of the movable housings (13) and are restored to their original state. |
