PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge scraping device capable of preventing the falling of a chain from a sprocket and the breaking of the chain by inhibiting the positional deviation of a return shoe from a return rail and the falling of a flight when a big earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: In a sludge scraping device,: an upper return rail 7 and a lower return rail 8 are made of channel steel consisting of lower flange parts 7a, 8a, web parts 7b, 8b and upper flange parts 7c, 8c respectively; lip parts 7d, 8d hanging downward are formed at the open ends of the upper flange parts 7c, 8c of the upper return rail 7 and the lower return rail 8; a hook 26 is rotatably attached to a return shoe 19 around an axis extending in the longitudinal direction of the upper return rail 7 and the lower return rail 8; and the hook 26 is engaged to the lip parts 7d, 8d when a flight 5 performs return travelling. |
