PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which enables multiple files to be registered therein, and which has a mechanism that achieves, with registration of one file without requiring registration of other files, the same efficiency achieved with registration of other files.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes: receiving means which receives registration of a first file; determination means which determines, when the first file is a file of a predetermined type, whether a second file is registered; generation means which uses, if a result of determination finds that the second file is not registered, the first file to generate the same extraction data as extraction data that is supposed to be generated by extracting information contained in the second file if the second file is received; and registration means which registers the extraction data generated, as extraction data that is supposed to be generated by extracting information contained in the second file. |
