PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for lamination of a metal plate, which is excellent in designability of appearance of a can body after retort sterilization, and from which a laminate metal plate for a two-piece can applicable to a two-piece laminated can and excellent in moldability can be formed.SOLUTION: A polyester film for lamination of a metal plate is a polyester film including 45-65 mass% of polybutylene terephthalate, 25-52 mass% of polyethylene terephthalate with 5-8 mol% of copolymerized isophthalic acid, and 3-10 mass% of polyethylene terephthalate while the sum total is 100 mass%. A higher melting point of melting points exhibited by the polyester film is higher than a melting point of polyethylene terephthalate with 5-8 mol% of copolymerized isophthalic acid. |
