PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of easily switching cutting of a pasteboard and label peeling on the pasteboard.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a platen roller 120 conveying a label continuous body 150 constituted by temporarily sticking a plurality of labels 200 of prescribed lengths at equal intervals to a long pasteboard 151; a peeling portion 130 peeling the labels 200 by turning and conveying the pasteboard 151; a cutting portion 140 which is disposed on a conveying direction downstream side of the label continuous body 150 in the platen roller 120 so as to be movable between a cutting mode position for cutting the pasteboard 151 and a peeling mode position for peeling the labels 200 from the pasteboard 151; and a nip roller 144 which is provided in the cutting portion 140, is separated from the platen roller 120 when positioned at the cutting mode position and is capable of abutting on the platen roller 120 via the pasteboard 151 turned in the peeling portion 130 when positioned at the peeling mode position. |
