The invention relates to an apparatus for proportionating, injecting, and/or routing analyte sample solutions in microlitre or nanolitre scale into at least one high-pressure fluid stream. The apparatus comprises at least one slider plate (14) comprising at least one central bore (26) and two complementary bores (24, 28) in at least one row, wherein the volume of the central bore (26) determines the volume of sample solution to be injected and effects the proportionating of the sample solution. The apparatus further comprises a sample supply channel (45) connected to said central bore (26) in a sample loading position of the slider plate (14) for loading an aliquot of the sample solution into said central bore (26), and an actuator (80) for moving the slider plate (14) from the sample loading position into the sample injection position in which the fluid stream passes through the central bore (26). In order to facilitate a multi-channel sample intake procedure, it is proposed to provide the apparatus with a top stator plate (16) and a bottom stator plate (18) sandwiching the slider plate (14) which is supported such as to enable an at least essentially linear movement of the slider plate (14) between its loading position and the sample injection position. |
