The grid image (20) has a set of grid fields (22-26) containing a grid pattern influencing electromagnetic radiation and consisting of a set of dashed grid lines. The grid fields are achromatic grid fields with a visual appearance that is dependent on a viewing angle. The grid fields are formed of sub-ranges overlapping with one another, where dimension of the sub-ranges lies below a resolution limit of the naked eye. Each achromatic grid field exhibits a preferred direction, which specifies a view range. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a grid image. |
