A method and an apparatus for tracking objects are disclosed. The method includes selecting objects which are located right in front of an object tracking apparatus, stably move, and continuously appear, as high-priority objects, from the objects to be tracked; selecting high-priority objects whose movement is continuous and stable, and coincides with movement of another high-priority object, as reliable high-priority objects, from the high-priority objects; and tracking the reliable high-priority objects. |
