Provided is a technique which prevents the increase in cost and the complication of a step for producing a device on which a rat-race circuit is to be mounted, and is capable of making the device smaller and thinner and improving device performance. A 3λ/4 line (6) for constituting part of a rat-race circuit (1) has a penetration-line section (7). The penetration-line section (7) penetrates to the inside of a region surrounded by a closed loop (8) configured from λ/4 lines (3-5) and the 3λ/4 line (6). At each connection section (15-18) of the lines (3-6), the directions of extension (α, &bgr;) of lines extending from a terminal line (10 (11-13)) toward each of two lines (3, 4) which connect to the terminal line (10) have line symmetry with the center line (O10) of the line width of the terminal line (10) as the center line of symmetry thereof. |
