PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire having improved adhesive property with a metal cord and enhanced hardness and tensile property, and to provide a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a rubber composition for a tire containing 100 pts.mass of a tire containing a diene rubber containing a natural rubber and total 0.2 to 10 pts.mass of an aromatic compound (1) having one or more carboxyl groups and hydroxyl groups in a molecule and an aromatic compound (2) having three or more carboxyl groups in a molecule, and a pneumatic tire using the composition as a coating of a tire belt layer or a carcass layer. |
