PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection device capable of enhancing detection accuracy.SOLUTION: In a position detection device 1, an end part of a lead frame 40 projected from a detector 30 is connected with a terminal 50, and the detector 30 and the terminal 50 are molded by a primary molding resin 60. The primary molding resin 60 comprises: a thin-walled part 61 molding the end part of the detector 30 on an anti-terminal side; and a thick-walled part 62 molding the detector 30 positioned on the terminal side rather than the thin-walled part 61. By setting the wall thickness of the thin-walled part 61, the positional deviation of the detector 30 inside the thin-walled part 61 can be in an allowable range, and water, etc., can be prevented from being infiltrated into a lead frame 40 and the terminal 50 even when the detector 30 is exposed from the thin-walled part 61 by the thick part 62. |
