PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve at low cost in which magnetic efficiency is not deteriorated.SOLUTION: A solenoid valve includes a valve body 2 having a valve chamber 2a, a valve body 3 having a valve part 3a disposed in the valve chamber, a valve seat 4c into or out of contact with the valve part, a plunger 6 made of magnetic material to move together with the valve body, a housing 9 housing an electromagnetic coil 8 and made of magnetic material forming a magnetic path cooperatively with the plunger when power is supplied to the electromagnetic coil, a coil spring 11 urging the plunger in a direction away from the valve seat, and a guide member 7 for guiding the valve body in a valve opening direction and a valve closing direction and supporting the coil spring, the guide member is formed by press working, and the magnetic path of the electromagnetic coil is formed only by the plunger and the housing. The guide member may include a pressure equalizing hole 7c for connecting the inside of the valve chamber with a space where the plunger is housed. |
