PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer excelling in compactness, formed into a vertical type with a small pressure loss, blocking a clearance between a screen and a body to prevent the outflow of foreign matter and dust when inserting the screen, and easily pulled out while securing the clearance between the screen and the body to prevent damage or breakage thereof even if the screen is stuck when the screen is taken out.SOLUTION: An opening 11 provided in the upper part of the body 3 having primary and secondary side connection ports 30, 31 is removably covered with a cover body 5, and the cylindrical screen 2 having an inflow port 15 on the primary side and inserted from the opening 11 is removably mounted into the body 3. A fulcrum P for mounting and rotating the cylindrical screen 2 to the primary side is provided in a position below the primary side inflow opening 60 of the body 3 and on the secondary side of the body 3. A port edge part 44 of the inflow port 15 of the cylindrical screen 2 is pressed to the inflow opening 60 side of the body 3 through the pressing force of a pressing means 4 provided in the upper position of the cylindrical screen 2. |
