PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus for vehicles which does not give discomfort to a driver and can continue necessary driver support control appropriately at intersections.SOLUTION: When an own vehicle passes an intersection, a control prohibition determination portion 20g allows execution of a lane maintenance control (determination of keeping of lane maintenance control) if one of right and left white lines regulating the own vehicle course continues before and after the intersection and the own vehicle traveling course shows preset continuity before and after the intersection and also allows execution of lane deviation prevention control (determination of keeping of lane deviation prevention control) for the white line continuing before and after the intersection. The configuration allows appropriate continuation of necessary driving support control at intersections without giving discomfort to a driver. |
