PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the energy efficiency of a water-containing solid matter drying device.SOLUTION: A water-containing solid matter drying device includes: a preheating part 10 for recovering a sensible heat of water and heat medium, and heating a supplied water-containing solid matter with the recovered heat to preheat the water-containing solid matter until water contained therein starts its vaporization; a vaporizing part 20 for recovering a latent heat of water vapor, and heating the water-containing solid matter preheated by the preheating part 10 with the recovered heat so that the water contained in the water-containing solid matter is vaporized to be changed into water vapor; a solid-gas separator 61 for separating the water-containing solid matter in the state that the water contained therein is changed into the water vapor by the vaporizing part 20, into the water vapor and a solid matter; and a heat recovery part 40 for recovering the sensible heat of the solid matter separated by the solid-gas separator 61 with thermal medium gas, and cooling the solid matter to provide a dried matter. |
