PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device dispensing with a windshield as an inspection jig and capable of easily calculating, by prediction, the luminance of a final image by a head-up display device.SOLUTION: In an inspection device 100, an inspection unit 140 contains luminance at a prescribed light-emitting part P in a final image 5a in a pre-stage of inspection while a windshield 5 is provided and an integrated value of light-reception data for each camera pixel of a portion corresponding to the prescribed light-emitting part P in a photographed image 130a, the luminance and the integrated value being stored in advance as known luminance Ls and known integrated light-reception data SDLs. At the time of inspection, from the relationship between each of integrated light-reception data SDLsij obtained from the plurality of light-emitting parts P in the photographed image 130a and the known luminance Ls and known integrated light-reception data SDLs, each of final luminance Lnsij corresponding to the plurality of light-emitting parts P in the final image 5a formed in the windshield 5 when the windshield 5 is assumed, is calculated by prediction. |
