The method of producing polymerous fibres of polyhydroxybutyrate or a copolymer of hydroxybutyrate with hydroxyvalerate by means of spinning from a polymer solution in a solvent extruded into a precipitant, where the amount of the hydroxyvalerate in the copolymer of hydroxybutyrate with hydroxyvalerate amounts to maximum 30% of the weight, the polymer or copolymer spun has, from the weight point of view, a medium molecular weight of 50,000 to 100,000 Da, the precipitant is formed by alcohols having the solidification point greater than -70°C and concentration of at least 75% of the weight, the solvent of the polymer or copolymer is chloroform, dichloroethane and/or dichloromethane, where the concentration of the polymer or copolymer in the solvent or the solvent mixture is 0.1 to 20% of the weight, the temperature of the solution of polyhydroxybutyrate or the copolymer of hydroxybutyrate with hydroxyvalerate is in the range of 0°C to 50°C and the precipitant temperature is in the range of -70°C to 70°C. |
