PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the current flowing through a switch element.SOLUTION: A switch control circuit 11 includes: totem pole output stages (112 and 113) for outputting a gate signal Sg of a switch element 12 which is connected between an application terminal of an upper voltage VH and an application terminal of a lower voltage GND; a pre-driver 111 for driving the totem pole output stages (112 and 113); a current detection part 116 for monitoring a current Ie (Ic) flowing through the switch element 12 so as to generate a current limit signal Sd; and an upper voltage generation part A for variably controlling the upper voltage VH according to the current limit signal Sd. |
