PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag cover for a vehicle that can stably control expansion and deployment of a bag body into a cabin with a predetermined tear line area torn rapidly and securely during expansion and deployment of the bag body.SOLUTION: Each of a pair of lid parts 12A, 12B is arranged symmetrically across a tear line area 11a in a predetermined tear part 11. Base end portions 14a of tear guide plates 14A, 14B are connected to portions located a predetermined distance away from the tear line area 11a on a surface of the lid parts 12A, 12B facing a bag body 5. The tear guide plates 14A, 14B protrude obliquely on the bag body 5 side from the base end portions 14a toward a direction of the tear line area 11a. Each tip portion 14b of the tear guide plates 14A, 14B is allowed to contact each other. Force components acting to the tear guide plates 14A, 14B rupture the tear line area 11a, if a pressing force from the bag body 5 acts onto the tip portions of the tear guide plates 14A, 14B. |
