PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract relay sections contained in a program.SOLUTION: A location identification unit 11 of a relay section extraction device 1 extracts expressions related to a location from respective sentences represented by text data associated with video data of a news program and identifies the location from the extracted expressions. A sentence classification unit 12 determines whether or not the respective sentences represented by the text data are comments related to a relay. On the basis of types of respective comments of two different sentences that have been determined as comments using expressions related to the relay by the sentence classification unit 12 and a difference between locations of the two different sentences that the location identification unit 11 has identified, a relay section extraction unit 15 extracts sections in the video data corresponding to the two different sentences, as the relay sections. |
