The invention of the present application is provided with: at least one tank (3) that stores a raw material slurry (13); a wire cylinder (14) that is immersed in the slurry (13) inside the tank (3) and forms a sheet from the solid content in the slurry (13) in conjunction with rotation; and a sheet forming amount adjustment device (22) that, in accordance with the thickness in the approximate width direction of a formed sheet body formed into a sheet by the wire cylinder (14), adjusts, in the width direction, the amount of solid content formed into a sheet in the wire cylinder (14). Due to this, the invention provides a sheet forming machine with which the width-direction thickness of a formed sheet body can be suitably adjusted for factors that change over time. |
