PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiology picture imaging apparatus, method for controlling detectability of a start of irradiation with a radiation, and program that are capable of preventing erroneous detection of the start of irradiation with the radiation even under a noise environment affected by foreign noise.SOLUTION: A radiology picture imaging apparatus includes: a sensor unit for generating an output signal depending on an irradiation dose of a radiation with which irradiation has been performed; a detection unit for detecting, on the basis of the output signal, a start of irradiation with a radiation radiated from a radiation source in imaging a radiology picture; a noise information generation unit for generating, on the basis of the output signal used for the detection unit detecting the start of irradiation, noise information on noise mixed into the output signal; a control unit for controlling, depending on a degree of variations of the noise's level shown by the noise information, the detection unit's detectability of the start of irradiation with the radiation; and an imaging unit for imaging a radiology picture after the start of irradiation with the radiation has been detected by the detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
