PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst and an exhaust gas purification device capable of particularly improving an HC purification rate in a lean atmosphere, when an LNT and a noble metal/an acidic carrier are supported on the same support.SOLUTION: There is provided an exhaust gas purification catalyst for purifying an exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine which comprises a first catalyst and a second catalyst supported on the same support, wherein the first catalyst has a carrier having a solid acid and a noble metal supported on the carrier and the second catalyst has an NOx adsorbent which comprises: CeOand substantially contains neither an alkaline earth metal nor an alkali metal; and a noble metal. |
