PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller capable of stabilizing a vehicle behavior even if abnormality occurs to a regeneration brake.SOLUTION: A vehicle controller calculates a target vehicle behavior on the basis of a brake pedal operation amount or an accelerator pedal operation amount (S402 or S404). If a difference between a target deceleration-acceleration calculated from the driving operation amount and deceleration-acceleration detected by a G sensor exceeds a predetermined range (S406: Yes), the vehicle controller detects that an abnormality occurs to a regeneration brake on the basis of a determination result of a controller controlling a motor generator (S410), and distributes a torque generated in an entire vehicle to a normal friction brake other than the abnormal regeneration brake, an engine, and a transmission so that a vehicle behavior is equal to the target vehicle behavior by compensating for the reduced torque due to a brake force generated by the abnormal regeneration brake (S412). The vehicle controller transmits a command to electrically disconnect the motor generator from the vehicle and ends a torque compensation control (S414). |
