PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly reduce the contraction degree of a seat without increasing the maximum lift amount of a valve element, and suppress the leakage of a liquid base material from a seal material to the annular inside.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve includes a valve element 40 having a center passage 42 through which fuel is distributed along a center axis C, and a branch passage 43 branching from the center passage 42, and a seal material 50 mounted on the valve element 40 for closely contacting an injection hole body 60 to close an injection hole 60a. The seal material 50 is shaped annularly extending around the center passage 42 to seal gas fuel from both the annular inside and the annular outside, and insert-molded with the liquid base material filled into the cavity of a mold pushed against the valve element 40. In a portion of the valve element 40 on the annular inside of the seal material 50, a mold contact face 44 is provided against which the mold is pushed from the downstream side of the flow of the fuel to come in face contact therewith. |
