PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence determination device for water in oil capable of easily determining whether or not water is mixed in fuel oil in a fuel oil tank.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a presence determination device for water in oil comprising a transparent case member having a filter installed therein and an oil supply member removably installed at an opening part of the case member through a connecting member. The transparent case member has either a determination member carrying water soluble pigment therein or raw material discolored through contact with water. Employing such a configuration as above causes fuel oil flowing into the case member to be brought into contact with the determination member and when water is mixed in the fuel oil, only the water mixed therein is colored with water soluble pigment or the determination member brought into contact with the mixed water is colored. Accordingly, the fact that water is mixed in the fuel oil can be easily checked with eyes through the case member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
