PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management system in which digital data can be retrieved and browsed efficiently in a portable information terminal.SOLUTION: In an information management system configured by connecting a host computer for information management and a portable information terminal for information browsing via data communication, the host computer is capable of storing digital data after matching data of related construction site information indicating a construction site to which each of data items is related, and the information terminal is capable of matching the data of the related construction site information to image data captured on a site and then storing the data. The host computer and the information terminal are capable of transferring data or synchronizing data therebetween. The information terminal displays a map, is capable of displaying a mark in a location of the construction site on the map, and designates the mark, thereby retrieving and displaying the digital data to which the data of the related construction site information of the construction site are matched, and the site image data. |
