PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet drying device, printing equipment, and a program, which enable a droplet to be efficiently dried with a low level of energy without impairing image quality.SOLUTION: A recording-drying combined head 32 includes a recording head 100 and a drying head 200. The recording head includes a plurality of nozzles 104 that are arrayed in a predetermined direction and eject an ink droplet 112 to a sheet P. The drying head 200 includes a plurality of VCSEL groups 206 which are provided along a predetermined direction. Each of the VCSEL groups 206 includes a plurality of VCSEL 204 which correspond to one of the plurality of nozzles 104 or to the plurality of nozzles 104, are disposed in a direction intersecting a predetermined direction and irradiate an ink droplet 112 on a sheet P with light at different points on a straight line that goes through a position or positions opposite to the plurality of nozzles 104 on the sheet P and is extended in the intersecting direction. Further, irradiation energy of individual VCSEL 204 constituting the VCSEL group 206 is controlled in accordance with an ejection volume of the ink droplet 112. |
