PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition for volume type hologram recording capable of obtaining, without reducing the hologram recording performance, a hologram recording body that has a high transmittance and has a light resistance inhibiting hologram from being degraded by a high output laser.SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition for volume type hologram recording includes a cyanine-based pigment as a sensitization pigment that absorbs a hologram recording wavelength and can excite to supply energy to a photopolymerization initiator; a photopolymerization initiator; a photopolymerizable compound; and a base generator that is inactive to hologram recording wavelength light irradiation and generates a base by heat. |
