PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in printing quality without disposing toner more than necessary.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image carrier holding an electrostatic latent image; developing means which develops a developer image on the electrostatic latent image on the image carrier; temperature/humidity detection means which detects temperature and humidity in the apparatus; and developer disposal control means which disposes developer stuck to the image carrier, on the basis of a disposal condition. The developer disposal control means selects the disposal condition on the basis of the temperature and humidity detected by the temperature/humidity detection means. |
